AUTHORS & ARTISTS

Steven Archer is an artist and musician living in Baltimore, MD. When not recording, DJing, or producing art, he and his wife, author Donna Lynch, tour with their dark electronic rock band Ego Likeness. He has a BFA from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC, and has shown his work at galleries and other venues throughout the east coast, and internationally in the form of album art and magazine illustrations. Luna Maris is his first book.

Jennifer Barnes has a B.A. in English with a concentration in poetry from the University of Maryland. She has been a professional graphic designer for more than 8 years. In 2003 she and her husband founded Raw Dog Screaming Press to publish experimental fiction for adults. After having a son in 2005 she became interested in writing children's books and was inspired by the art of Kristen Margiotta to pen Better Haunted Homes & Gardens.

Kristen Margiotta was born and raised in Delaware, attending schools in Wilmington, one of the oldest and historical cities in the state. She is inspired by her childhood imagination and experiences, fashion, environmental surroundings and music. She is also inspired by many artists, especially the Old Masters, such as Caravaggio and Leonardo da Vinci. Her college experience was amazing, studying in DE and London with some of the most talented artists, designers and illustrators who are the best at their professions. Kristen is currently creating an online store, pusuing children's book illustration and continuing involvement in gallery events. She has also been an art instructor since 2003 and teaches both children's and adult's art classes.
