30,000 Years Ago

30,000 years ago there were more fleas and less automobiles. There were carriages big like houses and the fleas liked to ride inside these carriages and look out the windows to see clouds shaped like the automobiles to come. The fleas liked to open the windows but the furniture moved so. The furniture would slide out the windows, so the fleas had to nail the windows shut. It was a hard world. There were no automobiles 30,000 years ago, but there were these great big carriages with lots of little carriages inside them. And all of them rolled along, trying to keep the furniture inside. The fleas jumped from window to window, looking out for the automobiles still to come.
