Confession of Confusion
by
Danielle Naibert

Standing on my head
Praying with my feet
I spot the madman
Sitting across from me

Playing with puddles
Laughing with a frown
I hit the offending
Mask sleeping with me

Backwards sits my tongue
Lying flat on my feet
My nose speaks the names
And my eyes see my brain

Veins pink with readiness
My fingers curl under my ankle
And my toes rest calmly
On thier palms

Silly white nurse
She calls out my name
And the image in front of me
Crawls over like the slave it is

Time to leave
Inside my white walls
And my pretty brass bars
Of my personal slumber

And listen to the sing softly
As I dance the dance of
Powerful swords like I....
