Stanley Ashenbach was born in Ez, France.  His mother claims he is the product of a union between her and John Fogerty; consequently he believes he is the nameless subject of several Creedence Clearwater Revival songs.  He holds a M.A. degree in haberdashery from Stick Figure University, has translated thousands of French words into English, and enjoys watching reruns of What’s Happening Now!!  In addition to being the nonfiction editor of Guide Dog Books, Ashenbach is the managing editor of The Dream People, a journal of Bizarro texts.
