 Upcoming Releases

Dr. Identity by D. Harlan Wilson

Follow the Dystopian Duo, on a killing spree of epic proportions, through the irreal postcapitalist city of Bliptown where time ticks sideways, artificial Bug-Eyed Monsters punish citizens for consumer-capitalist lethargy, and ultraviolence is as essential as a daily multivitamin.

RDSP in World's Best Fantasy & Horror 2006

Several RDSP books were recognized in this year's World's Best Fantasy & Horror. Scott Thomas' Westermead was praised by Kelly Link who said it, "was one of the happy surprises of the year. It's an odd but heady book reminiscent of the pastoral novels of Thomas Hardy, with perhaps a touch of M.R. James." The story "Four Bronze Sisters," from the collection also received an honorable mention.

Other stories we published that also received honorable mentions were Simon Logan's "Surgery" from Tempting Disaster and Efrem Emerson's "Grandmother's Body" from The Unauthorized Woman. The Bare Bone series racked up quite a few more honorable mentions, a story and poem from #7 and 4 stories from #8.

$40 Halloween Discount

To celebrate the honorable mention in World's Best we're offering a discount on the signed limited Historian's Compendium edition of Westermead for the whole month of October.

This over-sized illustrated edition has a sewn binding, acid-free paper and a bonded leather cover foil stamped with the Westermead insignia. Just as the lore in Westermead has been handed down from generation to generation, so can this book be passed down between generations.

The retail price is $85 but will be on sale for $45. Buy it here.
