Praise
for Ronald Damien Malfi:
“The Fall of Never is a suspenseful and compellingly original tale that delivers a captivating supernatural mystery with an eerie, dreamlike quality. Ronald Damien Malfi masterfully blends psychological terror and traditional gothic horror into a sinister fairy tale that would make Stephen King and the Brothers Grimm shudder with dark delight. Highly recommended.”
—Dark Realms
“The Fall of Never is about many things, but most of all it is about power: the power of fear and loneliness, of the mind and imagination, and the extreme result that comes from the combination of all four. Given the depth of his plot, I was concerned that any ending Malfi came up with would fail to meet the heights of what preceded it. But he managed to completely surprise me with a stunning conclusion that fits all the pieces together in a fully satisfying way and may even break new ground—I know I've never read anything like it before. Despite its generic origins, the author does not limit himself and therefore comes up with a novel that feels completely original and definitely makes Ronald Damien Malfi someone to watch out for in the future.”

“The real test of a good horror novel or any good novel is ‘do you care?’ I did find myself caring about RDM’s main and supporting characters. All of them had life in them and their own voices…I genuinely enjoyed and got involved with the story. RDM doesn’t need to imitate, has real talent and I look forward to his next!”
—Mass Movement
“Malfi understands something that 90% of horror writers miss. You have to care about the characters as people before you care about them as people in jeopardy. Ultimately, Malfi's emotional investment distinguishes The Fall of Never from the garbage…The Fall of Never will serve as both an entertaining read and an introduction to this very talented and entertaining writer.”

"I've been complaining
lately about the lack of inventiveness in
horror and paranormal fiction, pondering
if there are any bold writers out there
willing to try something wildly different.
Ronald Damien Malfi has officially shut
my yap. Complex, chilling, surprising and
though-provoking, The Fall of Never is what horror should be."

"Hands down, The
Fall of Never is one of the most enthralling
and nail-biting books I've read in years
It
raises the bar on how horror should be written
and the way that characters should be developed.
Expect to hear and see Ronald Damien Malfi's
name everywhere in the future. Raw Dog Screaming
Press has become quite a known entity in
putting out the best of the best and they've
just added another one."

Review
"The Fall of Never
is a dark, suspenseful descent into the
wild heart of dream, where the primal power
of the imagination can turn reality into
nightmare. Ronald Damien Malfi has crafted
a novel you will not want to miss, filled
with mystery, wonder and terror. Smooth
writing, a sure voice, and emotional truth
keep his engaging cast of characters rolling
through the lonely territories of the human
heart and mind. Grab this book and settle
in for a hell of a ride that ends, as all
journeys worth taking must, with surprises,
thrills and chills."
Gerard Houarner,
The Beast That Was Max, Road to Hell
"Part modern gothic
and part psychological nightmare journey,
Ronald Damien Malfi's audacious The Fall
of Never seethes with simmering danger
and suspense, proving that "quiet"
horror can still quicken the heart. With
allusions from Shakespeare to Poe and a
cataclysmic climax, Malfi's second novel
reminds us that our minds are sometimes
more frightening than the monsters of yore."
William
D. Gagliani, author of the Bram Stoker
Award-nominated novel Wolf's Trap
"I enjoy books that
make me think....I think that I will add
"The Space Between" by Ronald
Damien Malfi to that list now too....(Malfi)
does manage to evoke some beautifully poetic
images throughout this "literary suspense"
- my words, not the publisher's."
